5/21-22/2015: Spark Forum convened in Charlotte, NC
The Philanthropic Enterprise hosted its second Spark Forum at the elegant Duke Mansion in Charlotte, NC, May 21-22. Eleven participants gathered to discuss “Human Nature & Philanthropy.” Dr. Barbara Oakley, professor of engineering at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, made a special presentation on her work on pathological altruism and the complex relationship between neuroscience and social behavior.
